P&A Group is proud to announce that its 2026 Charity of the Year partners will be Tenovus Cancer Care and North Wales Wildlife Trust, following a company-wide employee vote.
The announcement was made at a launch event held at The Woodworks Garden Centre and the design.shed in Saltney on Wednesday 11th February, coinciding with Welsh Charities Week. Employees from across the business attended, alongside charity representatives Vicky Green, North Wales Regional Fundraising Manager at Tenovus Cancer Care, and Graeme Cotterill, Fundraising Director at North Wales Wildlife Trust.
Each year, employees vote from a shortlist of charities, making sure the chosen causes reflect what matters most to them and their communities.
For 2026, employees have chosen to support two organisations making a meaningful difference both to people and the environment.

Tenovus Cancer Care provides life-changing support to people affected by cancer across Wales, offering practical advice, emotional support and specialist services to individuals and families facing some of life’s most challenging moments.
North Wales Wildlife Trust works tirelessly to protect and restore the region’s natural environment, safeguarding wildlife habitats and green spaces so they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
For 2026, P&A Group has set an ambitious fundraising target of £10,000, with a calendar of events and activities planned throughout the year.
Andrew Baker, Managing Director at P&A Group, said:
“We are delighted to be supporting Tenovus Cancer Care and North Wales Wildlife Trust this year. Both charities do incredible work in areas that resonate strongly with our teams. We’re looking forward to coming together once again to raise vital funds and make a real difference. Today, staff have been excited to sign up for a host of fundraising activities, including tackling Zip World Velocity – the world’s fastest zipline and longest in Europe – the West Cheshire 10K, a quarterly Steps Challenge, A Month Without, and the North Wales Coastal Path relay, to name just a few.”
Vicky Green, Regional Fundraising Manager (North Wales) at Tenovus Cancer Care, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to have been chosen as one of P&A Group’s charities for 2026. The funds raised will help us continue providing vital support to people affected by cancer across Wales – whether that’s through our nurses, counselling services or community support. Fundraising partnerships like this make a real difference, and we’re very much looking forward to working closely with P&A Group throughout the year.”
Graeme Cotterill, Fundraising Director at North Wales Wildlife Trust, added:
“We are absolutely delighted that the P&A Group has chosen the North Wales Wildlife Trust as one of its charities for 2026. We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with Woodworks Garden Centre – hosting events there to share our conservation work and partnering with them through the sale of native hedging plants grown at Aberduna Nature Reserve – so it’s especially meaningful to have been selected. This is a great opportunity for staff to come together and give volunteer hours to help local community wildlife projects.
We’re excited to be involved in the fundraising activities P&A Group will be undertaking throughout the year and look forward to working together to make a lasting difference for wildlife across North Wales.”
Further details of fundraising activities will be shared in the coming months.
