1832
George Morgan
George Morgan, the original founder of this dynamic organisation, established the first timber business in his native Crieff in Perthshire, Scotland in 1832. He had six sons, four of whom entered into partnership with him.
1900-1949
The Morgan Family
The Morgan family owned and operated five sawmills in Scotland and three sawmills in Ireland between 1900 and 1949.
1985
Malcom Morgan
The P&A Group was founded by Malcolm Morgan in 1985. P&A Pallets & Packing Cases is the founding division of the P&A Group and supplies pallets and packing cases to businesses operating throughout North Wales and the Northwest.
2000
Steve Morgan
In 2000, Steve Morgan took over the business from his father, Malcolm Morgan, and he was responsible for managing the ongoing growth and development of this historic firm which has been established by his family over generations.

Relocation
In 2005, P&A Pallets relocated to the Bromfield Industrial Estate.

industry, nationwide.

The Woodworks Garden Centre
In 2005, The Woodworks Garden Centre was opened right in the heart of the North Wales borderlands. The destination Garden Centre has everything you need for the garden.
Zest Outdoor Living
In 2022, Zest launched its first ecommerce website – www.zestoutdoorliving.co.uk – to gain insights into the current garden market and develop products that meet the changing needs of today’s consumers.
The design.shed
The design.shed was opened in 2022, as a centre for creativity and innovation in product design, with a development suite which includes research and concept development, the latest CAD technology, a prototype build area, production studio and marketing zone.
