Staff members from P&A Group will be ‘putting’ their best ‘club’ forward for a charity golf day on 21st July at Pwllglas Golf Club, in Ruthin.
P&A Group participates in a number of fundraising events throughout the year for a chosen charity. This year, the company is supporting Action for Children. The charity, which has been operating for 148 years, helps disadvantaged children across the UK and works closely with other charities, local authorities and health services.
With a fundraising target of £10,000, P&A Group is already over half way there with almost £6,000 raised so far. The company now has a variety of events over the coming months in between attending the key trade shows and the day-to-day running of the business.
The Charity Golf Day, taking place on 21st July at Pwllglas Golf Club near Ruthin, will see P&A Group staff members including Managing Director, Steve Morgan, Operations Director, Rhys Hughes, Strategic Development Manager, Wyn Jones, and Zest 4 Leisure Sales Manager, Alwyn competing for a good cause.
There will be competition prizes on the day including prizes for the ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Longest Drive’, ‘The Wooden Spoon’, and the ‘Best Dressed Golfer’.
Speaking of the annual Charity Golf Day, P&A Group Managing Director, Steve Morgan has said:
“The Charity Golf Day is a great way to fundraise whilst having fun. We have some keen golfers amongst the staff so this is a perfect way to raise money for a good cause.
“It will be interesting to see who comes out on top and who gets the Wooden Spoon prize.”
P&A Group is a family run business with a longstanding-history of supporting charities and the local community. The company’s previous chosen charities have included the Alzheimer’s Society, and Cancer Research UK.
