Last week, many of us here at the P&A Group put on our high vis’s and helped out in the annual Mold Spring Clean 2017.

17 of us, including Steve Morgan, Managing Director, joined forces with 'Springy' the Spring Clean mascot along with our mascot 'Panda', to help tackle the litter in Mold.

The Spring Clean sees volunteers sent out in groups to give the town a tidy up.

A variety of cleanup activities take place including litter picking, clearing footpaths, tidying flowerbeds with opportunities for everyone to participate.

The aim of the Spring Clean is to make the town a pleasant environment to live, work and play in, and generate community pride for everyone.

Marketing Manager at P&A, Janet Major, said: “It’s the fifth year that we have joined in with Springy and the Mold Spring Clean.

“It was our pleasure to be involved again this year, as we like to get stuck in wherever we can in community based projects, and to be able to help give the town we are based in, a spring clean, is great.”

Volunteers representing all areas of the community got involved in the annual Spring Clean including schools, local groups, businesses and residents of Mold.

“It was nice to be able to work alongside other businesses on the Bromfield Industrial Estate and other groups in the area. To see so many helping out really shows that element of community spirit,” Janet added.

The P&A Group is a successful multi-award winning company based in Mold. The thriving family run business has been manufacturing timber products, including pallets, log cabins and fencing for thirty years.

Our involvement in the timber industry spans five generations, which is reflected in our knowledge and expertise.
