Steve Morgan, Managing Director of The P&A Group in Mold attended the Flintshire Business Awards at Soughton Hall, with his wife and 4 members of staff on Friday.
This year celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Flintshire Business Week, and Steve was invited after the success of last year’s awards where he won Flintshire Business Man of the Year along with P&A also winning Best Company to Work For.
Accompanying Steve and his wife Nia were Kathy Mitchell, from the P&A Garden Centre, Fiona Coke, the Woodworks Café Manager, Kasia Kondrat the HR Manager and Janet Major the Marketing Manager. The awards was a great opportunity for staff to celebrate another successful and busy year for The P&A Group.
Sponsored by CGS Securities, the Black Tie Gala Dinner and Awards presentation was organised by Flintshire County Council and many prestigious names attended including Lord Barry Jones who was presented with the Legacy Award for his lifelong services to business and the economy.
In addition, the recently elected Cabinet Secretary Ken Skates attended as well as MP David Hanson along with Flintshire County Council representatives including the Leader of Flintshire County Council, Aaron Shotton, making the event a great networking success for Flintshire Businesses.
Steve Morgan congratulated Leyla Edwards from KK Fine Foods PLC on becoming the next Flintshire Business Person of the year and winning The Entrepreneur Award.
