Huw Lewis AM visits Mold site to congratulate Steve Morgan  (MD ).  The P&A Group of Companies who manufacture pallets, garden furniture and install eco classrooms is proud to have been accredited with Investors in People. The Investors in People accreditation signifies best practice in people management and sets a standard for putting people at the heart of the business.

The visit on the 21 Jan to the P&A Garden Centre, warehouse and manufacturing site was an opportunity for the Minister to meet employees, and present the official IiP plaque to P&A.
Two pupils from The Alun School in Mold also came along to meet the minister. The pupils are Eco Ambassadors at the school and were part of the 2015 eco project supported by P&A’s Volunteer Hours Project. P&A donated supplies and a team of volunteers to work with pupils to improve their Eco-garden at The Alun school having received a request from their Eco Champion.

P&A achieved the IiP accreditation through a rigorous and objective assessment to determine good company values, vision and mission, ensuring that everyone in the company understands what the company is trying to achieve. Huw Lewis AM was delighted to hear about the community support given by P&A to various schools and education events, including the STEM Wales Rally exhibition.

Commenting on his company’s success, Steve Morgan said, “We are absolutely thrilled to have received this Investors in People accreditation.  Achieving this confirms that good people make a great business. The investment in training and development and working towards our mission ensures we are all working for the future success of the company as well as our employees. We want our company to stand out as an employer of choice within the community.  Everyone within our organisation who has helped us to achieve the IiP should be very proud of our success.”
