Following the success of last year’s event, the P&A Group has announced it will hold a charity sale of Zest timber garden products on Saturday 1st April to raise money for Dementia UK.

The sale will be held from 9am to 3pm on Saturday 1st April, at the Zest Warehouse & Distribution Centre in Saltney. It will offer up to 50% off an array of timber garden furniture, planters, arches and the grow your own range of products.

The products on sale will comprise ex-display and seconds and both built and flat-pack options. Parking is available and goods will be on offer on a cash and collection basis only. The full address of the Zest Warehouse & Distribution Centre is: River Lane, Riverside Works, Saltney, CH4 8RS. 

Chosen by employees as the company’s charity of the year for 2023, Dementia UK is the only charity that provides specialist dementia nurse support through its Admiral Nurse Service.

Admiral Nurses provide life-changing support and guidance for families affected by all forms of dementia in communities, hospitals and hospices, on the free national Dementia Helpline, and in clinics. 

Dementia is a huge and growing health crisis and is the leading cause of death in the UK. Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia and there are currently over 900,000 people living with the condition in the UK.

Commenting ahead of the sale, P&A Group Managing Director, Steve Morgan said:

“Raising money for charity is very important to everyone at the P&A Group. Every January, our employees vote for a charity of the year which, for 2023, is Dementia UK. We have a wide range of fundraising activities planned throughout the year and have set an initial target of £10,000. All the money we raise will help Dementia UK to reach more families facing dementia across the UK with the support of its Admiral Nurses.”
