At the P&A Group, we believe it is vital to support our local community. We recently invited a number of business students from the Alun School, Mold to learn more about our company and how we operate across our divisions.

Twenty-four pupils attended a tour of the P&A Group, which helped them to understand the importance of good customer service and efficient operating processes. The students enjoyed visiting the new Woodworks Café, the P&A Garden Centre, our warehousing facility and timber manufacturing site. All involved were interested to know more about our expanding business.

The tour coincided with Responsible Business Week and was led by Managing Director, Steve Morgan. He said,

“The students were given an insight into how we do things at the P&A Group. They asked many insightful questions about our company and good business management. With youth unemployment remaining stubbornly high in North Wales, with 17% unemployed in Flintshire alone, it is vitally important for local businesses to get involved with inspiring young people and support them into the world of work. As a member of Business In The Community, we take our commitment to working with local schools incredibly seriously and it is great that as part of Responsible Business Week we were able to invite so many business students from the Alun School to see how we operate as a multi-divisional, expanding company.”
