A huge well done and congratulations to Andrew Baker, Finance Director, who completed the Conwy Half Marathon on Sunday 17th November as part of his 1,600 mile run challenge for Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith.
As if completing the half marathon wasn’t enough, he beat his previous course time and tackled the route in 1:31:21 – what an accomplishment! This is his 12th and final event of 2019, which has included marathons, half marathons, 10k runs, and hundreds of training miles.
Andrew has only 100 miles left to run, and couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone at The P&A Group.
Andrew said: “What a great way to finish off my race schedule for the year. The support on the day was totally unexpected and gave me a real boost. I finished in 1.31.21 which was 1 minute faster than last year – 134th place out of 2,773 finishers”.
It’s not too late to donate to this amazing cause for the outstanding support and vital services that Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith give to children, young people, and their families.
