Pallets and Recycled Woodchip
P&A Pallets & Packing Cases is the founding division of the P&A Group and has been supplying pallets and packing cases to businesses operating throughout North Wales and the Northwest for thirty years. During this time we have acquired a reputation for producing high quality, reliable products backed by outstanding customer service.
Our automated production lines ensure our pallets and packing cases are efficiently manufactured to consistently high standards. Our skilled workforce operates a flexible production process, which enables us to respond rapidly to fluctuations in market demand.
We manufacture pallets and packing cases to exact specifications. All pallets manufactured onsite are heat-treated or kiln-dried to comply with international export regulations, ISPM15. Pallets can be recycled onsite and we offer a cost-effective pallet repair service. We manufacture a full range of timber packing cases and crates, including heavy-duty close boarded and lightweight open boarded solutions.
P&A Pallets & Packing operates a zero waste policy: any unrepairable pallets are chipped and used to fuel our 200 kilowatt biomass boilers that heat our offices and warehouses. We operate within ISO 9001 standards and all manufactured and sourced pallets are fully inspected for quality assurance. We source a vast amount of raw materials from home grown sawmills based in the UK using responsibly managed forests.

P&A Pallets & Packing Cases has been manufacturing timber packaging and packing cases since 1985. We supply quality cases to a wide range of industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, food, agriculture, nuclear and manufacturing.
We offer worldwide shipping for our full range of packing cases and crates, which are constructed of quality timber or plywood. All cases are heat-treated in our onsite kiln to comply with the ISPM15 international export regulations.
We supply both heavy duty close boarded and lightweight open boarded packing cases. Unlike many non-specialist export casing companies, all our packaging and packing products are made to measure and designed to satisfy specific requirements.
We are able to fulfil regular deliveries of standard cases or one-off orders. Small wooden packaging can be designed and made to suit specific items, whilst giftware packaging is styled to satisfy a buyer’s brief. Cheese, wine and other food display and packaging products are available, as well as gift packaging for soap and beauty products.
P&A Group now supply Recycled Woodchip for commercial use.
The biomass boiler market is vital to enable the UK to achieve its environment targets for renewable energy and one of the main barriers to the growth of this market is a viable and secure source of shredded wood at the right price.
Our Recycled Woodchip can be used as a biomass fuel that is an eco-friendly alternative, producing less carbon emissions than traditional fossil fuels. Recycled Woodchip is a cost effective, reliable and eco-friendly wood fuel source. At P&A, we are eco conscious, already using our own biomass boilers. By making our own Recycled Woodchip on site helps us to achieve our own responsible waste management objective and helping to make P&A an eco-friendly business. We supply Recycled Woodchip to both the local area and long distance customers.
P&A’s Recycled Wood Chip has only a 20% moisture content - it is recommended that most Woodchips moisture content is a maximum of 30% making our Woodchip perfect as a biomass fuel.

Our pallet recycling operation offers a full repair and recycling service, providing instant cost benefits for our customers. Broken pallets can be salvaged, stripped down and repaired. Any process waste is bagged and sold as kindling to local garages and coal merchants. All other waste from unrepairable pallets is chipped and used to fuel our four 200 kilowatt biomass boilers that heat our warehouses and offices.
